F355 studio photos
Discussion
Morning all,
I just thought I'd share these here as I realise most of you won't be avid readers of the photography and video forum of PH.
This was another collaboration between myself and Andrew Whyte, more details of the photoshoot including behind the scenes here

There is another photo which Andrew is working on, once he's finished it I'll get him to post it up as it should be pretty unusual!
Cheers,

Cracking pictures and a beautiful car!!
Hope you don't mind a little bit of critique though....I find it strange that photos of real cars are fettled with in paint-shop to the point that they look like computer generated images, and computer generated images now look more realistic than the real thing.
IMHO - take a good photo, at a good angle, with good lighting - then leave it alone!
(Still a gorgeous car though!)

I don't mind at all, but other than the backgrounds which have either been darkened or lightened you'll find that these are straight out of camera (minus layering the multiple exposures for the lightpainted one - but the results are un-fettled).Hope you don't mind a little bit of critique though....I find it strange that photos of real cars are fettled with in paint-shop to the point that they look like computer generated images, and computer generated images now look more realistic than the real thing.

I was really just reffering to photo #2 - it doesn't look real?! But I'll shut up if they're unntouched!
That's just the lighpainting, it does create that slightly unreal illusion. I think it's because you never see cars under such light.
The car in that photo itself is untouched, I had to stitch together the 42 different frames (the light was too bright to run around the car in one hit), the only 'photoshop' in that image was too darken the floor in certain areas from the light spill.
Honest 'guv!
