Still loving my 355 GTS but it has been boringly reliable so I've had to give myself bits to do. As I'm 6'1", I could never get comfortable thus a Hill Engineering steering wheel boss got fitted with a momo wheel to allow the big airbagged pillow to get junked. Although they are rare, carbon sports seats do come up second hand occasionally and as I still find myself sitting a little high, do the sports seats lower the seating position? Also, would they be a pain with the targa roof fitting behind the seat (My car lives roof off inside and regardless of the temperature the roof stays off when driving - if the roof is on, the storm has a name).
Any experiences welcome but I need a little project to give me something to do to this frustratingly reliable car apart from thrashing it. Thanks in advance.

I know the seats do lower the seating position, not sure how it works with the GTS roof as the car I knew was a GTB. I guess you'd have to slide the seats forward to get the roof in rather than tipping them

I've owned two F355 GTS one with standard seats and the current one with sports seats. The sports seats are slightly lower and certainly look far better but I find them a bit less comfortable (I'm 5' 9" and slim) Storing the roof behind the seats is also more of a nuisance and not an easy one person job as it was with the standard seats. It is also more important to put the cover on to protect the carbon seat backs and the roof itself...
