Hi, I am picking up some stone chips on my F430 and was thinking of getting it wrapped- partly for protection but also just for a change.

Would be keen to hear recommendations of places that can wrap and an idea of cost pls if anyone wants to share with me.

Would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

A company which is good and local to me is Blueprint Nottingham - www.blueprintnottingham.com

The owner told me that they've done a lot of vehicle wraps on supercars for a variety of footballers in the past, so they should know what they're doing.

Paintshield in Peterborough - don't go anywhere else!! Had my whole car wrapped circa £3k. Just had the front bumper done for £360 all in. Well worth it given 90% of my driving is motorway and I want to preserve the factory paint...

Call Tom for a perfect job and reasonable price...

We've used Totally Dynamic in Leicester, and cannot fault them. Ben is the chap there, and I would expect to pay less than £3K!

yeah £3k sounds a lot... unless its chrome wrap (which I understand has higher material cost). I know someone who had a black taxi entirely wrapped (including windows) by Blueprint and cost circa £1,200.

I've been quoted £1300-£1600 from various companies to wrap my V8V in a standard material colour, shiny or matte, and told it approx doubles for chrome and then a bit more for carbon or a print.

In London your choices are Raccoon who are the most expensive but best known or I rather like the like of a company called Yiannimize; Yianni himself tweets an awful lot and they seem to do a pretty good job as well as wrapping some awesome cars (pretty much every footballer you've heard of).

Thanks for the information. I live in East Sussex- right on the coast, 60 miles from London. So, will follow up on the more local ideas.

Have heard good things about them also, they did the first "coloured foil" wrap too on a 599 that took part in last years Gumball too which looked amazing.

I got my old murcielago wrapped from silver to white by valet magic...cannot fault them. Expect to pay circa £2000-2500. These guys also do some of the gumball wraps and have a lot of experience.
A number of garages said it was the best wrap they had seen.
Will use them again. Based near Ascot, Berks.

Here a write up they did on a forum

Interesting to see how much the cost of wrapping varies so wildly. Understand the price differential for carbon or chrome look etc but base price of comparable product is significantly different between some suppliers.

Hamman parts iirc ( if its the same car ).

The owner is a young guy from Sweden. And yes, family money.
