Hi,

I'm posting on behalf of my brother who is toying with the idea of buying a Ferrari 400/412. He has noticed that most for sale have around 70k miles and was wondering if owners offload around this time due to a reliability problem.

Also, any other advice on buying one of these models would be gratefully received.

Regards,
Max

If looked after they are as reliable as any of their peers . . . . . . maintenance can be a bit involved / expensive, but worth every penny as they are still the cheapest way to get into a proper SEFAC era Ferrari.

Buy on condition not mileage as many have been clocked wink
