Yep, a small truck.

It was taken on the A50 at around 7pm yesterday.

Looked to be two young chaps in the car. They were running in both directions across a couple of junctions.

I have also seen an F40 on the A64 near Castle Howard and I've seen an F40 numerous times on the A1 where it branches out to four lanes just south of Peterborough.

Hi there,

I have seen this exact car a few times as well, heres a shot of it taken in 2007 at the F40 celebration event at Silverstone.

It's nice to see it being used!

The one I see regularly (for an F40) on the A1M also had an F40 XXX plate. I am bound to see it over the summer at some point.

No idea if it was the same car as I didn't see the plate (it didn't have a front plate that I could see) but I saw a red F40 twice today on the A379 just outside Exeter biggrin

Lovely car, possibly driving from or too the Maserati/Ferrari dealers in Marsh barton?

Have they still got the drop dead gorgeous 288 GTO in their showroom?

That was a great day!

Tiz I in the passenger seat there.

Here's another shot from the day, as we were lining up for the parade lap.

As a 29 year old, I'm fully expecting to start falling to pieces in six months time. smile

Spotted again on the A50 just a few minutes ago!!

Sherriff Buford T Justice of Smokey and the Bandit would have described his velocity as follows: "Junior, what we're dealing with here is a complete lack of respect for the law..."

Great to see an F40 in regular use as opposed to a garage queen.

I may be a bit late to the party, but the owner of the F40 XXX is my neighbour, he also owns an F50 and an XJ220, so we often hear them being warmed up before he leaves for a drive!

I'm sad to say I don't know him well personally, but I think that he is connected to the 'Tax The Rich' group, so if you look on YouTube, you will see that these cars certainly get used properly and don't just sit in a garage to show off!!

I'm reliably informed that neither the owner or the cars have any connection to the "tax the rich" group. The cars do however get regularly used and enjoyed!
