You just wait until a crack b-sky-b SWAT team abseils through your window, and starts firing tear gas everywhere.

Then you'll understand.

You'll probably end up in 'camp x-ray' for attemting to destabilise the US economy. Or something.

Hi Guys,

Time to reset your videos! The original 1974 "Gone in 60 seconds" is on Sky Cinema at 2pm and 8.15pm today. Also on the same channel is "Tucker: the man and his dreams". Two great car films.

Patrick, do have a DVD that plays USA market DVDs, if so you can borrow mine.

Jazz

Just read the link below, did not realise that there was a version made in 1974! Mine is the Nick Cage version. Who was in the original?

Cheers for the offer Jazz, I have got a dvd player, but only on the PC.

The original Gone in 60 seconds was a great film; although I only saw it first time around at the cinema...

There is a short review I found here:

Oh, and this one
http://tcotrel.tripod.com/gonein60.html

It's a real cult car chase film.

The original starred a yellow Boss Mustang I think. Don't know who the driver was, and don't really care!

I cant be arsed to find the article in EVO, they used to review a car film on the second to last page for a while.

But most of the original film was filmed ilegally, basically they set up, took the shot and buggered off before anyone realised, making a lot of the shots real with real cars not stunt drivers.

Paul
Must find a copy

Guys,

Have a look at the links posted by Patrick, all the info is on them.

I remember seeing it when it came out, Amazon can do the DVD but only in USA format.

Cheers,
JSG.
