OK only on TV because I rented it. I have read some reviews and they are mixed what do PistonHeads think.

I really enjoyed it. ok was not expecting much of a story but if you want to see some very smart cars doing a little illegal street racing this is for you.

Yeah but they're all Japanese cars. zzzzzzzzzz...

Apart from the Dodge Charger (?) at the end I wasn't very interested...

How about Christof's Cerbera?

what a pile of shit..... ok, if you like modified Jap cars... come on .. how long is a civic gonna last running 200+bhp nitrous ???

where were the good old us V8's ?? V10's not a Viper in sight.
it was funny to see the kiddies getting exciting and hitting the NOx @80 mph ( usually I change up into 4th at that point ) popping their little engines @130mph .... yawn...

The best bit is when the hero fires his Nitrous Oxide during the 2-minute quarter mile race and his computer screen flashes up 'Manifold Danger!' or some-such nonsense, and then the floor of the passenger footwall falls off.

The nicest motor in the film is his Ford F150 Lightning delivery truck.

Ah, the film is alright for a laugh.

First laugh was the character Dom moaning to the other guy about granny shifting??? Not double clutching - On a 1/4 mile run! talking bollocks!

Don't understand the USA fasination with NOS though. Tend to think of it a cheating/quick fix for more power.

Regardless of NOS, how long is modded Civic going to last? Longer than a standard TVR me thinks!

jvaughan seems too be giving off a superiority complex. Japanese reliabilty upsetting him eh!

The film is just a bit of a laugh but then again there are not that many new films around featuring good car race.

I still think the best bit is when they are lining up to race, checking the NOS etc then the camera turns to one of the drivers and he is playing Gran Turismo on his in car playstation.
