Just received this message from the team at Lexus UK:

"We would like to send our thanks to everyone for making us so welcome at VMAX on Saturday, especially Craig and his team. We've already posted a couple of photos taken from earlier in the day on our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/LexusUK, and we will be adding more content, including video, over the next few days.

As most of you know, LFA 016 is the first full-production LFA in the UK, and one of only 500 LFAs that will be built worldwide. The car recently made its public debut at Goodwood Supercar Sunday (watch our video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVprpWmLWWw) but this was the first time it had been out on track. This gave us a fantastic opportunity to capture video and photos of LFA at speed and alongside IS F, whilst sharing the experience (especially the V10 engine's sound) with genuine performance car enthusiasts. We hope you enjoyed having our cars there!

Kind regards,

The Lexus UK Team"

Top job Vmaxers for giving them a great reception!! Thanks bow

Lucky

I could be wrong, but i'm pretty sure it was one of the guys from Lexus that I handed my camera over to so that he could film one of my runs ... if so, thanks!

Thank Lexus mate, I just suggested it to them. Someone much further up the chain will have had to give the thumbs up for it. Good on 'em. And nice they chose an event like Craig's to get it out in front of an appreciative audience. beer

It was kinda hamstrung by the constraints of the filming requirements Stig. Most of the runs were to show the IS-F and LFA together, the IS-F on full chat and the LFA strolling a few car lengths in front. I know as it is the only car in the UK and having only been viewed at Goodwood statically before this, the driver was under strict instructions to... 'bring it home in one piece'!!!

Ha!

So did we! It was a very nice car, just the price that's a little sticking in the throat!
