Sounds Good; I will be running at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Speed Week during the middle of August, so hope to meet up any other time.

Such a Porkfest. Hope to see you there, Jez. Naturally I was hoping you'd be in the 'other' TT.

It'll not go any faster as its on the limiter way before the beams.
We are developing the engine/boost/oil systems so hopefully we should see another 10mphsmile

Evening all wavey from a Vmax newbie.

Hoping to join you all on this one! If I get a place then I'll be in the tuscan.
Looking back over some of the previous events I'm surprised at the relatively few TVRs that have taken part. Is it such a strain on the car that I'd need to do any specific prep on the car etc?
Cheers
Dave

Get the Tuscan tested for decibels as there is a sound limit.

From above sticky:

In case anyone needs to check:

Our noise limits are 98dba static test at ¾ max revs ½ m & 45 degrees from the exhaust and 87.5 dba track side drive by.

Most TVRs are to loud unless track silencers are used.

I suspect that rules out the Donkey going for a run then. I have to use 4000 revs to just not stall!

Cheers, I had seen that, so thought that might have had an impact.
I had the car tested on Sunday at 98db static (standard exhaust) so with some additional/different silencers it should be safely under the limit.
I'm presuming as its Brunters that it's very strict so I wouldn't want to take any chances!
