P1 Supercar Sunday - Sunday 11th September
Discussion
I received this email today from P1 International:-
Attention all supercar fans,
We are delighted to announce the date for The P1 Supercar Sunday Event in September.
This event has grown into something that really does stand out in the Supercar Calendar and the list of cars that we attract is out of this world.
This time though, we are leaving The Mulberry Inn behind us as our event has simply outgrown the venue. The Mulberry team have always helped ensure a great day out and we are greatful to them but the space on offer was too small for us to include all the serious cars that we wanted to show.
This September, we are re-launching P1 Supercar Sunday at a simply stunning venue closer to our base in Epsom -
De Vere Venues Horsley Park in East Horsley, Surrey.
This De Vere Group venue offers beautiful surroundings and the all important space required for us to put on the best display ever.
Last time we attracted some incredible cars and I fully expect this time to be the same. I already have confirmed that the new Lamborghini Aventador will be coming and I am confident that I will confirm other new model cars over the next few weeks - keep checking my newsletters for updates over the coming weeks.
Despite the size of the venue, show cars will be limited once again although we have grown the limit to 100 of the finest supercars in the UK. I am very confident that the line up will be really special once again.
The event starts from 10.30am and parking will be pre-allocated for show cars.
There is some additional parking available at the venue for spectators and stewards will be on hand to help.
We have been asked to stress that East Horsley is a residential area and attendees and guests should do their best to avoid disruption.
Entry is free and there will be food and refreshments available to purchase on the day.
Parking in the display area is reserved for show cars only; supercars turning up on the day to get into the show area without pre-booking will be disappointed.
Directions:
De Vere Venues - Horsley Park

This free event should be brilliant, already confirmed is the Aventador, Enzo, Carrera GT, F40, Veyron, 458, SLS, DBS Volante, Lp560, Aeromax, etc etc.
The weather looks like it is clearing ok and the venue is stunning. I am really looking forward to seeing them all and it's free!
Starts from 10.30am and the address is De Vere Horsley Park hotel, East Horsley, Surrey. Only about 5-10 mins from Junction 10 M25.
Come on down and get up close and personal with the world's best cars organised by P1 Supercar Club.
Just hope Chris Evans and James Martin come down again...

Thanks for the invite Jamie, Personally I loved the new venue, really great line up of Supercars. The food and the drinks were also very good value. Much better than Goodwood. There were a few events going on today, so it was to be expected that numbers may be down, but the new Venue gets my Vote

Blimey, not many people there! I was at Mercedes Benz World. What a fabulous morning that was, lots of people and lots of cars that actually get driven rather than polished!
since the events were so close to each other I did both

Knowing alot of the guys that were at the P1 Event, i can safely say that the majority of cars DO get driven, and driven quite hard - rather than just polished.
TBH, I don't understand the reasoning behind your comment as alot of the cars that were there today, were being driven hard up the Gurston Down hillclimb prior to Wilton House, just a few weeks ago? (mine included) and are very regularly attending Events all across the year for the enjoyment of all.

Nice morning out, and back in time for the F1 (got to my mate's as they lined up on the grid after the warmup lap!) is always a bonus

A great turnout today, some very unexpected cars like the yellow XJ220, great to see the Black F40 one of the highlights!
2 Carrera GT also.. Sat Nav sent me down some private estate with HUGE speed bumps, hope this happened to nobody else.
