Hotels in Montreux and surrounding areas

Am going on a euro tour of the alps to try and drive all the various passes in a couple of weeks time.

Was planning to stay in Montreux (book) on the first night and was wondering if anyone could recommend a hotel. Ideally somewhere fairly cheap as will probably be leaving before breakfast (hoping for clearer roads)but with secure/safe parking for the motor.

After that was planning to wing it but if anyone has recommendations for Davos. St Moritz area would be happy to hear.
