Is there a Kent Christmas meet this year?

As above, used to go to Manor Farm but cannot see anything listed for this year anywhere as I know it moved.

vpr, well last years meet on the 2nd could have been the first of 2011 rather than the last of 2010 so was wondering if the was perhaps one after Brooklands that I'd missed.

Arron - i think "the last PH meet of the year" was'nt in Kent this year it was at Goodwood last Sunday (and i was working). I was looking forward to a run to Kent between Chimbo and New year but i've not seen anything yet ???

Mate it's not held there any more. It was a great little venue but i believe the numbers increased to such high numbers that it caused problems for the locals. You are right in that it used to be held just after Xmas as it's just around the corner from me and was always a great morning.

As has already been said I believe the Goodwood event Sunday just gone was the last meet of the year : (

We really enjoyed helping Terry & Cathy in hosting the Christmas meets but as said it really did become a victim of it own success. We looked at each other at the end of the day last time & despite being great fun decided to pull the plug.

Add to that the fact that since then our favourite landlords are no longer at The Manor Farm Barn so it wouldnt have happened anyway!

I tried to post a piccie of all the marshalls together but its not having it, so I said bks & opened a bottle of wine instead

So is anybody doing anything Kent-ish....say a run to Rye/Cambering on Bank Hols Tuesday...? You know,car park by the cafe/chippy at a certain time, all welcome, type of thing....? BF
