that was an initial waste of 36 seconds in the 49 second video!

(But I haven't got sound on. Am I missing any dialogue at the beginning?)

Thought as much. Probably best I dont let the whole office hear it though, especially with the backwards cap wearing English football holligan so close to the mic

Also Ringo the commentator making his sarcastic remarks ... 'and this TVR thinks that fitting NOS might make a difference'
Well you sure showed him Craig

Edit: maybe he should go back to doing Ivor the engine voice overs

Excellent, glad I saw that. Tyres were smoking all down the strip
Did the Cerb win the loudest car at PF as well in the end?

It was truly superb to watch, we were near the end of the strip and were screaming very loudly, I think that's the reason my voice has almost gone, worth it though

We also ran down to the road back to give him a standing ovation

So the Dragster won 3 out of 4 races to that point so I guess was fairly swift, Craig got a poor start and smoked his tyres all the way up the strip and still left if for dead. I have to see this next year after a bit more practice.. oh

Well done that man!

On the saturday evening, The Tuscan racer actually ran a quicker 1/4 mile than the cerb though, Warren just happened to be up against an even quicker rod.

Plus I think they all suffered from lack of traction compared to the NSRA lads. It's gotta be hard to do a burnout with no brake line lock.

Anyhow, welldone to both sides. Great fun to watch and a good laugh.

Shame the grey Ultima didn't enter against the rods. I know he was trying to enter as a radical but they deemed his car not radical enough, or not in the spirit of Hot Rodding. But I guess they have their rules else anyone could come along.

Just watched saturday evenings drag over again and here's the results.

1st Run

Green NOS Chim: 14.1s @ 107mph
Rod : 10.5s @ 133mph

2nd Run

Tuscan Racer : 12.3s @ 122mph
Rod : 10.6s @ 125mph

3rd Run

Ferrari : 13.8s @ 107mph
Rod : 10.4s @ 132mph

4th Run

NOS Cerb : 13.2s @118mph
Rod : 14.6s @ 97mph

Forgive my ignorance for not knowing what model each Street Rod is.

In all fairness, I reckon that if Craigs tyres hadn't been rubbing the wheel arch then it would have got him into the 12's

Roll on next year!!!

Dont suppose anyone has the times of Sunday races? Richards Ferrari 360 won his Sunday race, just wondering how the others fared?

Looks like the Tuscan Racer would have also taken the win had it been in the last race.

Well done Craig and the Tuscan team (TopCats?)

Indeed it twas us (TopCats) that were there with the Tuscan racer. Not helped on the runs by 'past their best' tyres and a crap driver !! Still gave everyone an idea as to what they could be driving if they came and did and trackday with us........

DustyC could you please mail me the pic via my profile? high res is fine as I have high speed connection.

We can celebrate Wazza's effort by posting the pic on the wall in the unit, next to all the other pictures of his err.......... victories!!

Cheers
