Following up from this other thread I posted, I'd just like to say

A BIG THANK YOU

to everyone that helped me in one way or another with my motor trouble including:

- Warren, Charlotte and Brian from Top Cats (Top people)
- The Chaps from Austec
- Greg from TVRMotion (I ended up getting the pipe re-made but thanks anyway)
- Paul (aka Pistonfest) for just checking up on how things were going every now and again
- The Avon Skip Hire chap who pointed me in the direction of Avon hydraulics
- The chap at Avon Hydraulics for re-making the PAS pipe on the sly for a backhander!
- the chap with the purple hot rod beatle for giving a bit of advice.
- and last but not by any means least TED for a top weekend

Edit: Almost forgot, also a big thank you to CharlieBoy for telling my girlfriend she had the nicest ass in the beer tent while I was off having a beer in the rodders bar!

Yep! Had to do a bit of running around. Still managed to squeeze in the fun stuff such as beer, watching the dragging, and drooling over the other cars though!

Sorry we didn't catch up, we probably walked straight past each other without knowing it!!

Must have a beer with you sometime Tony, even if you have left TVR country

Trying to find a good place to put a thank you, and here seems as good as any.
Thanks for a great weekend Ted, have to say there were no real low points for me at all, apart from going home on Sunday.
Best bits, seeing the Rich beat the hot rod, and the Cerb spinning in every gear.
Funniest moment, the guy in the purple tuscan who decided to have his picture taken at the end of the runway as a plane was trying to take off

Thanks to MXDi for my ticket, and Rich, Gemma and Oggs for a good nights drinking and company over the weekend and everyone else who made me feel welcome

I also wanna add, nice to meet everyone new we met, though I cannot rememeber much about the conversation I had with Incorrigible on Sat night, sorry Ben, I woke up on Sunday and knew I'd met you but couldnt remember where or how.
I always walk away from these things wishing I'd gained courage to approach more people to say Hi, (slinky, your one of those people ) so roll on BTaP

So who was the chap still clearing up the field on monday afternoon?? He said he put's on a few events there now and again.

I suffer with bad memory at the best of times, and I guess a gallon or four of beer doesn't help me any!

He didn't even recall falling asleep in the middle of the camp site and people prodding him with their toes wondering if he was still alive... one of the quotes of the weekend...
"see that light up there? That's going to Torremolinos that is... or it might be a star!"
