Run to Silverstone Sunday Service 12/02/2012
Discussion
Another Sunday Service @ Silverstone............ So it wouldn't be complete without another Run as per previous occasions
This is 'not' to be confused with the Convoy from Beaconsfied Services
Start will be early of course and will kick off from the top of the M25 within a 5 mile radius of postcode EN9 1AS and exact details will be sent by pm in the days before we go. The pm will also include the the Nav itn file
The route is tried and tested and known to be good thanks to a well known route planning PH'er
So, the list................
1. Spiritof'76 - Escort Cosworth
2.

....I bet that thing is rapid and ideal for the A/B roadsThat's my brother's car.
It was a limited edition of the Evo 6 extreme. the 450 doesn't refer to BHP - although my brother will probably confirm what it does refer to. Think it was the target torque figure.
he spent the last 6 months rebuilding it so now has new brakes, suspension, clutch, refurbed wheels amongst other things. Suspension is still too low so looks a bit
and also rubs at the moment! Needs to be remapped too so currently nowhere near running where it should be since 9 months of no use and rebuild.
But its a great looking machine and one of 2 left worldwide. Plus the AP 6 pots up front are astonishing! Unique to the RS450.
If the weather is not sunny, i'll be alongside him in my slower P1!

Indeed, they were aiming for 450 lbs of torque, but didn't quite get there. I think they ended up around 385lbs from memory, but mine I don't reckon is close to that at the moment as the map is terrible - getting that sorted end of Feb, then it really will be a monster!
As my bro said, spent a LOT of time working on it and making everything perfect, so after the last few bits are done it will be an amazing piece of kit!

Cheers for the insight into the car guys....that really is a special Evo you have there and will keep an eye out for it at the SS. This makes the TM editions look common! lol As my bro said, spent a LOT of time working on it and making everything perfect, so after the last few bits are done it will be an amazing piece of kit!
