Here's just a small collection of my photos. I'll sort out a proper gallery on my website when i get back to London and the joy of Broadband.
Firstly...
Met lots of people over the weekend but the guy in the picture below is a legend. You may have been to his company's website at www.yourboot.co.uk but John is a true gentleman and rather generous with his wallet and the bar... thus why i felt a bit
on the friday night.
Cheers John!
Another guy i met for the first time was Schnozz (along with Flasher etc but didn't get a pic of them
). We met in a rather interesting way. I wandered up to Schnozz and i think John or someone else i knew. Introduced myself and i feel this hand on my bum... turn around and a woman is standing there absolutely shocked as obviously i'm not the person that she thought i was...
Schnozz says "thats RudeGirl.. fitting name i think you'll agree". Not quite sure whats going on in this photo... maybe he'll tell me!
Schnozz on right, Incorrigable (top bloke again) holding the woman up...
Here's another photo of Pwig. Went to the venue thinking he was an urchin for buying another Rover... but infact he's absolutely a top bloke. Great fun getting plastered with you mate
On the left is a fellow that will try to get EVERYONE into a 944... dontlift. Great bloke and along with BCA (on the right) i think i'm tempted. I wonder how many 'Dontlift spec 944' will be on ted's classifieds in the next few years...
BCA - a really top bloke. Had some hard times but let his hair down and had a great weekend. I remember sticking my head out of the tent at about 4am, head spinning and just in a drunken haze, looking over and he's stumbling around. Fantastic weekend mate... long let it continue.
I met Bob The Planner earlier in the day and what a gentleman he is. Gorgeous tuscan too
Here he is with the wonderful Mrs Fish. Really great girl but i didn't really get a chance to meet her properly. Another time i hope. Her husband Fish (original eh?
) is also a very nice chap. Enjoyed our brief chat on the friday afternoon. Cheers
Those of you who saw Scrappy Challenge will remember a number of key moments... but Pikey (i think...)'s axe skills on a rear quarter panel were fantastic. Celebrating the moment...
And finally... the wonderful FIRESTORM... nuff said
It's been said before, great weekend Ted, Paul and the gang. See you next year!

Oh sh*t! How could i forget Stuart!!!
Now here's another amazing chap. I wandered over to look at the DB9 that was so elegantly parked a few tents over from me. Stood there for literally minutes admiring the car then look at a guy standing there... "ah you must be Shadytree... i'm Rico" and from then he was a great mate all weekend.
Highlight was after he contributed to my
state on the friday night, at about 10am on the saturday we're by his DB9... and he says those fantastic words "shall we go for a drive then...". What a way to ride yourself of a hangover in about 5seconds. Jumped in and off we went for a nice drive. Great car but overshadowed by the man himself... Shadytree...
ps... thanks for your kind words about me working in trading... we gotta meet up when i get back to el capital for a few drinks... on me this time!

Great times
Havent a clue, I had absolutely no idea where we were then too - I remember seeing an object that looked like a big water container - which was just before that sign. I dont remember a 1/4mile sign though?? Although the next day when you showed me the piccys it made more sense... hehe No mention of the Range Rover headlights then??? (or atleast the panic that followed, that again, at the time I was blissfully unaware of)
Was a great weekend!! Thanks again Rico, had alot of laughs... also FWIW, walking round and round my car at 4am was my way of walking off the drink
seemed to work a little??!! Fancy going halves on a "Dontlift spec" 944?
My current efforts of trying to get GrahamJ to buy one seem to be failing. Thanks Rico,
As you can see by the rather strong Southern's I'm holding, I was a little worse for wear too... Not that you can tell by the picture..
You seem to have got the nack of taking pictures of yourself down to a fine art! If I try that technique I end up with a pic of my crotch or something...
Again, lovely to meet you, looking forward to the next event.

P.S. - I really don;t remember that picture being taken!
