Ordered a couple of tickets on Sunday with code hero12 that was posted on British Rally Forum. Saved £2 per ticket but still had to pay a £2 transaction fee! But I got 2 tickets for Saturday for £38 which would be £50 on the gate. Tickets arrived on Tuesday morning so looking forward to it now.

Well, I have to say that was a fantastic day out.
In summary - my first proper run out in the TVR this year for a start so I was happy that we had a great run out after a winter lay-up. It drove like a dream.
Chuffed!
Watched an hours worth of legendary rally machinery doing their stuff including Quattro's, 6R4's, Ren GT Turbo's etc. etc. Brilliant, utterly fantastic spectacle.
Got to meet Bjorn Waldegard and Jay Kay who were both more than happy to have a photo taken with my lad. Bjorn even picked him up and plonked him on the bonnet of the 911 for a pic with him! Both top blokes.
Then we got to have a browse around the pre-auction exhibits. Senna's helmet and racesuit (which I had to touch like a proper geek!!
) + some more nice motors just before they went under the hammer.
And there was the fabulous array of cars on show, some of which I will post up later. The best for me being Derek Bell/Jackie Ickx Le Mans Porsche 956 and an immaculate Can-Am Mclaren.
Not over crowded and a very friendly atmosphere. All this on a bright, warm sunny day. Great event, great venue. Top day.

I make no apology for the poor quality photo's. That's what happens when your camera packs up and you have to use your phone!
Couple of beautiful racing cars..
