Car/ Motoring type event 2nd June

Afternoon all,

Fisrtly apologies if this is in the wrong section I wasn't sure where to put it.

I am looking for a motoring type event to go to on Saturday 2nd June (this weekend), Anyone know of anything going on? Not really too fussed where it is, but don't want it to take all day to get there so as near to Reading/Henley area as possible would be good.

Not especially close though, I'd say probably about 2 hours from the area you quoted.

Not really, from Marlow area, it takes about an hour cross country to get to the Pod.

Saturday will be a really good day if the weather stays. Its always better than the final day as there is loads more track action with the qualifying rounds.

Really? I live slightly closer (About 10-15 minutes further east), I certainly don't hang around and there is no way I could get to Santa pod in anything close to that time! I'd say an hour and a half minimum.

EDIT, I apparently have no sense of direction, Marlow is north of me and so closer so maybe an hour and 15!

Google maps seems to think at least 1 hour 45, although it never takes as long as Google maps suggests!

See my edit I added later. I had completely the wrong idea in my head where I am inrelation to Marlow! Quite suprised at the difference it makes though.

Saw it pinned to a lampost - no idea whether its any good, but very close to Reading!

Edit - On closer inspection (stunningly informative website) it looks to be mainly happening on the Sunday. Can someone else go and tell me about it so I can work out whether to be bothered to turn up in 2013!

This is the 3rd, but there is the annual VW Owners Rally at Stonor on Sunday. There is usually a great turnout there.
