In association with Great Ormond Street Hospital, DMC Motorsport bring to you Terminal Velocity

www.dmcmotorsport.com

Location: RAF Woodbridge, Suffolk
Date: Saturday 14th August 2004
Time: 08:00 - 18:00 (10:00-16:30 track time)

All profits from this event will go to Great Ormond Street Hospital www.gosh.org so please show your support.

Four Main Events:

1. Terminal Dash - ¼ mile runs, semis and finals
2. Terminal Velocity - 1.5 mile runs, semis and finals
3. Terminal In-Car-Entertainment Sound-off
4. Terminal Show ‘n’ Shine

Terminal Power

We have agreement from Thor Engineering to bring their 1600hp mobile dyno-pack to the event if he can get at least 8 cars pre-signed and paid (maximum 10 only).

This won't be cheap as its a proper dyno and takes about an hour to do each car - wheels off, the works - probably in the range of £50-£75. There will also be a Thor Hammer Trophy for the winner of the event.

We have invited a very special guest car to attend which he has agreed to if he is successful in his world record breaking attempt in June.

Costs

Gold Tickets - £50
1 car plus 2 adults
Terminal Dash (1/4 mile)
Terminal Velocity (1.5 mile run)
Terminal ICE (Sound-off)
Terminal Show 'n' Shine

Silver Tickets - £30
1 car plus 2 adults
Terminal ICE (Sound-off)
Terminal Show 'n' Shine

Bronze Tickets - £10
Adult spectator ticket
Free entry to kids under 14

Plus

We are trying to organise some proper prizes (e.g. full set of tyres) for the top 3 in each event and the overall winner, not the usual naff trophies although we'll have those too.

The car which gets the most points collectively from all events will become the "Terminal Velocity Champion 2004" and get free entry into next year's event if one is arranged.

Other Information

This is going to be a PRIVATE event and entry will only be granted to ticket holders.
There will be a limited number of spaces and cars on the track will be limited to ensure that everyone gets plenty of runs.
The marshalls assure me that it is possible to get somewhere in the region of 350 quarter mile runs done in a morning.
In addition to 150-300 2mile runs in the afternoon - so there will be more than enough track time for everybody.
Important - There is no decibel limit on this track which will help all the modified cars as it is an active MOD airfield & the weather DOES NOT stop play for this event, unless it pours so hard safety would be compromised.
Unfortunately there will not be any handling circuit. However, we have included the sound off and Best Dressed.

If you would like more information on this event, please contact me on phil.1@ukgateway.net, or
