Reminder to you all - meeting this Sunday lunchtime at The Fox and Hounds Pub, Exton, Rutland. Cambridge and Northants region have been invited & I have been informed that around 14 cars will be driving there from the Cambridge area.
C U there. JC
think many owners will be at the Asda charity event at Bruntingthorpe on Sunday?
Not sure what my plans are yet though...
Thanks for that Colin I am pretty certain that I will be popping over and although I was indeed at BBWF I am still awaiting my shirts as the car was purchased only 16 hrs prior to the "Fest" so I was not entirely certain I would actually have made it !
Anyway shirts "in the post" and I look forward to seeing you on Sunday
all being well.

Basically it is about one mile away from Rutland Water, near Barnesdale Lodge, building on main road just before the Whitting Cycle Hire carpark.
When you see Barnesdale Lodge turn up off the main road past the Restaurant and about a mile or two up there is the pub.
Fingers crossed for some nice weather

Suns out..perfect TVR weather...
Oh
12pm-12.30pm Today at exton, Rutland..Sunday 8th August 2004..
Dropped by today to make sure I got the right place, it's about a mile and a half down the side road where Barnesdale lodge is and then bank hard right into Exton and the Pub is on the green
not sure if you park in the car park or manage to upset the locals by sticking cars on the grass? but either way i am sure we will be told if it is wrong, I will head for the car park i recon
Just a last word of warning from the last meeting we had there..right at the back of the carpark which you have to drive through the archway in the pub the far end looks like you can stick your TVR's onto the grass section
DON'T as there is a large step/drop and your car will most definatly be wrecked!!
...so be careful, anyway fingers crossed for some great weather see you tomorrow.
by the way you don't have to own a TVR to turn up, but John may try and get you to join the region :-)

Sorry to hear that matey, with all the new people there from the other regions I strongly suspect the East Mids thought you were with the other regions and vice versa...
When the next one is on, come along, grab me or Judas (blue Chim/black Tuscan) and I will introduce to you to the folks I know.
Lovely car BTW
, also notice you work at Boston School, I lived in Horncastle for a while (many many years ago though...

Just a quick thanks to all those members whom I met, for the first time yesterday at the Exton meet. Great venue, great weather and superb turnout (42 Tivs?) it was certainly worth the 235 mile round trip! Also nice to be able to put a few more faces to names, all I have to do now is try to remember them in the future. Thanks to John (RO), Maggit,Mr&Mrs FlipFlop,Judas,AceT,and the other members of East Midlands and Northants TVRCC hope to meet you again at sometime for another

Good to meet you too, Gandalf, nice car, I have exactly the same trouble trying to remeber names/faces, so that makes two of us.
Just to say that sunday was my 1`st TVRCC meet and I had a great time, talked to a few people (sorry, I'm terrible at names) so hello to the guys with; yellow Griffith (who bought me a drink), bright blue 350 Wedge, Silver Cerbera (who i followed home for a while) and all the others.
And the sound of about 20 V8s starting at the same time?? Fantastic!! oh
