Nonny it's the call of duty again.

Mornings are dawning later and later(if they in fact dawn at all!!!!!) and it would be nice to have another blast.

Perhaps a bit shorter this time as the window of opportunity (ugh!) is less and less. Just the very naughty bits?

Might well be up for this... done the first 1000 miles of the new engine's run in. Just gotta get it used to the loud pedal a bit more for a few hundred miles before I really start caning it.

How about the best bits of the last one that I missed :hopeful smiley:

Oh sh1te! It's Ferrari day at Donnington on the 12th, then EuroHoon on the 26th... bollox! that only leaves me one slot

Oh well, let me know and if I can, I will. A de-catted Tubi should wake the locals up nicely

just out of interest, there is a similar crack of sparrows fart type run on sep 4th around the Wolds of Yorkshire if anyone is interested. Meeting at Humber Bridge north bank for a 06.30 start. it's in the Yorks forum, last pages of "East Yorkshire" thread.

er... I said the Humber, not the Bristol Channel Deen

It might be a bit of a trek for you, unless you're up in the area anyway? Your orange and my banana should cut quite a dash through the local farmland!

Mornin' All,

Yeah, would be nice to do again.

One big problem for me, I'm pretty well booked up in September and October.

Got Goodwood this weekend, which one way and another is costing me £300 or so, another weekend away in the month and then a holiday in the Dordogne at the end of the month. October starts with the end of Dordogne hol, I've got a mild little road rally in Belgium, and me and a couple of mates are planning a weekend blat to Prague for another weekend.

Dav, I really don't mind if you do one without me, I could put a route together. To be honest, I reckon DR2 done on a Sunday might be alright, as we did discover that there is more traffic on a Saturday, which spoiled things a bit. Plus, if you start later there is more chance of catching the Cat & Fiddle pub being open at the end. And at this time of year there will be less traffic even if you do start later.

Another alternative is a run - possibly daytime - in the week between Chrimbo and New Year. Must admit though, I'm not into a Boxing Day or New Years Day bash, not with the shedfull I'll have consumed the night before.

(Oh mi god, I've just realised what I've done - September has barely started and I'm talking about Christmas already.

aaaaaaaaaaaaarghhhhhhhhh!!!! )

Hi Nonny
My diary is looking similar but if anyone wants to try a shorter DRIII either next sunday or the one after I'm up for it.

Not bothered about numbers but we will need someone with a co-pilot who can read Tulips

If not it will have to be after the first week in October when I'm back from hols

Xmas/ New Year period would also be good Nonny, let's plan for it
