I'm thinking of starting to hold meets down at the barns where I work on classic cars. It's a venue I've used before to hold various meets, mainly in the 'old' days for BMW and Mercedes owners. I would like to try to keep it as a modern classic event, but all car nuts are welcome as are all marques (I hate the type of meet where everyone turns up in the same car). I have coffee and tea available, summertime and weather permitting I normally do a big South African Braai (BBQ) once or twice a year that has always gone down well in the past. There's enough parking for about 30 cars or so and there are nice pubs and drives in the area, as well as accomodation should the need arise.
The barns hold about 40 classic car at any given time, mainly Yank stuff but with a lot of what I concentrate on which is BMW and Mercedes.

Thinking of starting with a once a month meet maybe on a Saturday afternoon or sunday lucnh time. Ideas welcome.

If anyone is interested please let me know.

Thanks.

Halfway between Kidlington and Banbury on the A4260. Only about 200 yards from the main road in Steeple Aston.

Hi. I'd be up for it too!

It might be a good idea to avoid the 1st Sunday in the month as that has been the date for the Evenley breakfast meeting for the last couple of years (just over the border near Brackley in Northants if you're interested).

Well I've got the weekend to myself so why not.
I've already emailed the other chap to see what he thinks. I may come along anyway if he can't, if that's OK.

I'm really interested to see that list of cars you've got there.

Please do.....just bought a tin of biscuits and fresh coffee and tea. There's a distinct chance that Rodriguez 'Cold Fact' will be playing on the stereo.
