Hi, I go to this show every year with a friend who lived in Switzerland for many years. He and I have booked flights to arrive Tuesday morning (5th March) but our press passes have fallen through. We'd prefer to go that day so I'd appreciate any help anyone can give in getting us two passes. Happy to discuss something in return.

Please either reply here, PM via my profile or email marcus@carniel.com

Many thanks. smile

I would say that one day is enough, but avoid the weekend, it gets quieter in the evening too, it's open till 8 or 9 but quieter after 5-6. If you can get tickets for Thursday then do that, if not Friday is a full public day. The airport, station and exhibition centre are all connected so it's easy to get around on foot.

You can buy tickets at the entrance but it can be slower if there are queues and it might cost more - I've done it this way and I think it was about £12 each (don't quote me on that, exchange rates will have changed too) and a few minutes to queue. Thursday will be less busy if you can get in then.

Salon-auto.ch is the website which allows you to buy tickets in advance. Other visitor info on there too. Just tap Geneva Motor Show 2013 into the Google search bar.
