Hello racers!

I am pretty new on this forum. I tried find similar topic, but unfortunately unsuccessful.
I am looking for old race circuit, which are not already being used. But you can see it and in best condition also drive after them.

I come from Czech Republic, so for example our old Masaryk circuit (19 miles/one circuit) is now open for public roads. And there you can also drive.

Do you know any other old race circuit like this in Europe? A couple years ago I read Autocar magazine and there was some article, where editor wrote about some old circuit. There were also terrific pictures of old tribune and race track. The surrounding area was unkempt and full of memories.
I would like to find similar old circuits and visit them. Does have somebody any tips for me? Thanks!

I think you're talking about Reims? Very well known and accessible.

Also, Richard Meaden wrote a book on a similar subject - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Classic-Motorsport-Routes-...

I bought "Classic Motorsport Routes" by Richard Meaden. Now I am waiting for delivery smile
The book "Autodrome: The Lost Race Circuits of Europe" looks wonderful! But I read that this book is out of stock. Price is quite high on amazon. I hope that I will find some used book in good condition and with suitable price smile
