Leighton Meet n Beer 1 year old

If I hadn't been so busy, this would have been posted a week ago with a choice of Mondays!!

How does Monday 27th Sept at the usual pub, usual time etc sound?

It's been twelve months since I arranged the first meet, and it would be nice to see everyone again.

So come along for a few , some good food and a good bit of banter

Oh bugger - I would of loved to of come, but there is another meet in the region that i have promise to go to. What time are you starting, what pub in Leighton, what time do most people start to leave? I might try and get there if i can.
And can i bring my MX5? or is it not the sort of car u guys are into?

They love MX5's

Starts at 7.30 I beleive and in at Grove Lock pub on the bypass. Hope you can pop in, some people do pop only come over for a bit and then go, so dont worry about not being there the entire time, theres normally at least 2 people there til closing time

when u say the bypass, do u meet the one just past the thorne turning? cant recall seeing that pub though.

Off the A505. Down the Orange road (Tring road) entrance on the left.

sorry being totally thick - I'll be coming through Houghton Regis, then through thorne, right at the roundabout then is the pub down on the bypass?
Or - do i go into Hockliffe then turn left at the beefeater or am i now in the totally wrong place?

It's the orange road, so get on the A5 turn off at the big roundabout just north of the Dunstable cutting then last roundabout on the A505.

Its the second-to-last roundabout on the A505 if you coount the one right at the very end where you can only go left or right. If you find yourself at a roundabout where you cannot go straight on, then you have gone too far, so double back and then take a right off the roundabout you come to first
