Just off now! It's excellent if you have any interest in historic racing, rallying or motorbikes. Bit same-ish every year but if you've never been then will worth while.

Here's a thing - as you drive in, an official chap with a camera is taking a photograph of every car driving into the ground. I caught sight of a sign saying something about "if you object to being photographed..." But I couldn't catch the rest.

What is that about then??

Judging by the forecast its going to be even colder than silverstone last weekend. I can take it but not sure my two year old son can!

Great show. I went today (also last year) and I think it's a petrolhead's heaven.

Good show, never been before, but the signs are terrible! Huge area, lots of buildings on site, but no directions. No one knows whats going on where or when.
Enjoyed it a lot. £25 including parking is good value, inside the halls is well sorted.
Like bikes and cars at the same show, in manageable quantities.

This happens at nearly all the shows i go to.

They have a stand inside to sell pics of you and your car .

You could buy pics of other peoples cars if you so desire.

Its a great show. Come and see me and Tankslider (Jim Cameron) on the Mission Motorsport stand, Hall 1 in the HERO Village. Jim's got a very cool guitar on display and my car is there too.

Hi Benji,
I did look and ask for you but all I found was your car, very good it looked too. Liked the setting for it. There are a couple of pics on Photobucket - see the link in my previous post.

The highlight for me was this Ex Steve McQueen Lola, which he owned and which starred in the Le Mans film. Estimated to fetch up to £650,000.00.

Epic car.

No problem, you cant spend all day in one place - well I cant anyway!

Just make sure you buy something nice.

I believe this is for sale smile

Which entrance is it this year? The main one, or the one down the back lane? Trying to plan to avoid as much traffic as possible, last year we found a lovely way through the lanes only to find the entrance was around the back!

ETA: It's the back entrance on the B4415 - I've read the website now.
