Ring 24 / Monaco F1 Trip Advice
Discussion
Hi,
Was hoping for any and all pointers / advice for a trip i'm planning.
I'm heading out to watch the Ring 24hr race the from the 17th-20th of May, then planning to drive south through Germany, Switzerland (Lichtenstein?) and into Italy, maybe a couple of days at Lake Como, then over to the border with France to a hotel and commute across (from Italy) to watch the F1 in Monaco, then back home to blighty through France.
That's the general idea.
My question's pretty simple - given that high level itinerary, where would you go and what would you see? The Stelvio Pass is an obvious option as well as the Route Napolean on the drive out of Monaco home. What else, where to go and what to see!?
Only restriction is I need to be back in the UK no later than the Tuesday after the GP. (23rd).
To inject a little humor into proceedings I can tell you i'm doing this in my Sagaris so feel free to throw in the usual jokes on being followed by an AA van the whole way
Any and all advice / suggestions gratefully received!
Cheers,
Dan
