Solitude Revival 19-21 July

Evening all.

My normally non motorsport interested brother has suggested a roadtrip to the Solitude Revival in Germany.

Having never heard of this I was wondering if anyone has been or could give any more info. Where best to stay/what not to miss etc. I was surprised that a PH search came up with nothing.

I may well give this a go.

For info, I have two petrol head friends native to Cologne, whom I've just asked for imput.

Been to the Old-Timer Classic at the Nurburgring a few times with them, but generally run into some cr*p weather, because of the location. In fact the last time, in 2011, having taken my OH, it was so bad, rain, rain, and more rain, that my she has declared all such future trips to be non-starters for her, so, me on my own from now on!!!
