We visited the air show for a day 3 or 4 years ago and saw caravans and motor homes parked on King Edwards Parade overlooking the beach, and a stones throw from where the air display is centred , also parking restrictions had been lifted so we had free parking for the car .
We are tempted to visit this year for the weekend and with the caravan , we would like to know if parking caravans etc on King Edwards Parade is a regular happening , or was it a one off

I think you will be ok if you park further up on the seafront towards beachyhead. I don't recall there being signs saying no camping/caravans and there's plenty of room to park on the road normally.

The caravans/motorhomes were parked pretty much from the junction of Grand Parade up King Edwards Parade in the direction of Beachy Head , and the view of the air show from this area was great ,
And to have private lunching and toilet facilities would be wonderful , just the thought of £2.50+ for a small paper cup of "coffee" and the portabogs (phew ) is enough reason for carting the caravan down for a couple if nights

Well if you have any trouble parking there is plenty of space along Bexhill seafront in the evening if you head up towards the end near the park. It is probably about 20/30 mins drive from Eastbourne but there is no parking restrictions.
