This is an annual event at the Blue Lias pub near Stockton, Warwickshire. This year's show was held on 19th June and was a cracking night, with a huge collection of British Tin, American Muscle, Modified Cars, full-on Race Cars, Bikes and generally just about anything that turned up on the day.

Hi Li'l Red

Not sure if you know the first Sun of each month there is a breakfast morning at the Long Itchington Diner from 10 until about 1, you never know what to expect but normally some rods and yanks plus just about anything.

Also tomorrow there is a motoring festival at Princethorpe comprised of road run in the morning and show in the PM first time for me but I'll give it a bash.

Nice pictures Mad Welshman where abouts you based I often look at your drag pictures. wheels was good this year shame about the press overkill re the tosser who couldn't handle his burnout.

I was in the 2CV with the Explorer kit so nice to see a photo cool

Yup - I sometimes go there on the bike. We used to live at Long Itch.

Great photos, thanks for posting. Looks like an interesting evening with a real mix of stuff there.

Do you know if this is an annual event...or is there another one this year?

It is an annual event held normally on the third Weds of June. Hopefully the antics of people departing wont have jeopardised the future of the event.

Despite the organisers appealing to people to leave sensibly the bellowing throng of chest beaters on the road outside ensured burnouts a plenty including one that saw 8 people injured and the attention of Warwickshires finest en masse. This coupled with the press overkill and reckless driving in the past might be enough to put it in doubt which is a real shame as its a great venue.

For a similar eclectic mix you could try the Breakfast Meet at the nearby Long Itchington Diner which takes place on the first Sunday of each month. Photos can be found on my website if you click the galleries link and then 2012. There are few galleries from last year.

Regards

Tim

Hi Tim

Thanks for letting me know. Met a friend there a couple of weeks ago - it was his old watering hole when working locally. Shame we were 9 days early!

We had plenty to catch up on, so by the time I got round to taking a photo it was dark! Strange to think the Beta is probably 10 times as rare as the 328!

Last year made it to the Diner on the right day though!! Interesting mix of cars there.
