Anyone-else going on this?
Decided it was about time I took the HDC (Hair-Dressers Car)* for a bit of a thrashing (well more-so than usual).

See you there?
Don't forget the sun-screen!

Cheers, Pewe

Make sure you keep the noise down, some of us will be trying to sleep while we're working from home.

Have a good day driving

Great day out and an amazing selection of cars/drivers.
The Gallardo Superleggera was pretty interesting especially when one of the organisers took it for a drive. Sierra Cossie was a treat (must be one of the few unmolested ones in the country) and Westfield, S/c TypeR and Skyline were all interesting in their own ways.

For first timers there's not a huge amount to do.
Organisers recommend pumping up tyres to max but the Eunos was OK on standard pressures.
The only thing to be aware of is tyre wear. Whilst not a particularly abrasive surface if your tyres are near the legal limit beforehand they could well dip below legality by the end, particularly as everyone seems to gain in confidence as the day progresses.
Also if it's as hot as yesterday cooling system needs to be first rate.

Furybladelee ^^ met Joy - nice lady and pretty quick too.Trust her friend was recovered OK - can I have my tow-rope back?
Cheers, Pewe.

wavey We had a great day, particularly with the ESP turned off! I think we were surprised the Lambo didn't get closer to the Atom's time, but the course didn't really suit the car (straights not long enough to cool the brakes). Just need to get some new tyres now wink
