Pie in the Canaries

Just got back from a holiday in Lanzarote, and met a fellow PistonHeads member in the hotel!

Could this have been the smallest and most long distance PH meeting ever? After one too many sherberts one evening, I decided to name the momentous event 'Pie in the Canaries'.

This is now two years running this has happended, as we bumped into a Bristol region owner at the airport on our way home.

Small world!

P.S. Is the Chimaera owner in Lanzarote a PH member too?

I'm out in Gran canaria right now but haven't met an PHers as yet, mind you I was vetoed on bringing my yellow Le Mans shirt with "Tripps" on the back!

Where-abouts was the Chimaera? We have a lot of friends out in Lanzarote, as my wife used to live there, so I might be able to find out...

Chimp was spotted on the main road that runs between Yaiza, Playa Blanca and Porto del Carmen, kind of near the entrance to the National Park. This was in 2000, though ... could have been touring? Was dark blue.

Funny, we went to the Canaries and met some TVRCC/Pistonhead bods as well, mad as hatters and from Trowbridge - ah yes I now remember, that was you and David!

Hope you enjoyed your 2nd week in the sun - will whizz the piccie of your birthday night in teh restaurant to you sometime soon.
