Shelsley Walsh is an historic hill climb venue and this is their claim for this event: "The August Shelsley is the World's oldest continuous motor sport event dating back to August 12th 1905, pre-dating the very first Grand Prix, the Tourist Trophy and Le Mans"

It is a lovely venue set in the Worcestershire countryside and this event is bound to attract a good crowd. Latest confirmed vehicle to appear there is the Aston Martin AMR-ONE that competed at Le Mans in 2011.

I put this up on the TVR meets forum... Going up on Sunday myself.I'll wavey if i see a white AM. Few possibles also going,weather permitting.

Sunday for us too but unfortunately not in the Aston. 'Pearl' is away being fettled at the moment ready for her 1st tour: Alpine South with Petrolhead Nirvana in 3 weeks time woohoo However, do look out for a very bright red Polo GTi with my reg. number on it smile

Sounds like a very nice trip planned Molly,hope you have a good one and the"Pearl" Aston is ready and in order for the trip,
and sorry for my mistake in color.

Had a lovely day at Shelsley today. Perfect weather for it! Its a great venue and I can recommend their monthly Breakfast Club meets. Saw some nice TVRs but didn't meet any owners wink

We went today too, another really nice Shelsley day. Not many nicer places for petrolheads on a summers day. smile

Had a great day also,hard to spot who is a driver of polo gti owner among the crown Molly.
I did have my TVR cap on as an idea to pick me out. Spoke with fellow Chimaera owner but he is not on here. We followed each other home though. And what a turn out for Astons spin
