I'll be heading up to CarFest on Saturday (everything is upwards from sunny Southampton!)

Myself and the current Mrs HKP are here as we speak.

It's not bad - seems a bit more 'family fun' than a car festival if I'm honest. A bit of a goodwood lite I suppose. Quite good getting up close to Chis Evans' Fezza collection, and I had a sit in a Kia Pro_ceed GT which I was pleasantly surprised by. The food is a cut above your average festival for sure though.

That's exactly my feeling, I'm working there all weekend and its certainly a more family affair I just can't see what there is to do for all day. And not watched the cars run up the hill much as there's a bigger driveway at the hotel I'm in.

I'll be there on Saturday. The One show was rubbish. Was waiting for them to actually show some cars at the show.

Blimey Captain, just checked your profile and nice to see someone whose moniker matches their life...look forward to seeing you in action tomorrow!

Hopefully the LF-A was loud enough, I did try to keep the revs up, was a bit lively wet & dry hehe

Saw the black Lambo crash right in front of us. Was amazed how much damage a bale of hay can do at 5 MPH.

Had a great weekend at Carfest. Helped out with the Sporting Bears as well for a few hours each day.

I'll admit there are a few other things to do other than just look at cars and the hill showed the cars off.

Good family fun.

Also, spoke to the guy who crashed the Lamborghini. Thinks some oil had been spoilt by a previous car which caused tge car to understeer off. Great shame. but as ever, the most important thing is he's ok.

Yeah, we were standing up there. There was a definite smell like petrol. Maybe one of the old F1 cars had left a deposit.

Camped for the whole three days and there is more than enough to do for the family. Its not just about the cars and there is plenty to do in the arena.

Prices are crazy though, the food is good quality but the booze is priced far too high.

The LF-A was my 10yr old fav car of the whole weekend and one of the better sounding. We went and watched by the loop yesterday, great to see the Scooby doing some donuts smile
