I'm hoping to be able to attend VMAX, with the aim of bagging a load of photographs. With some of the exotica that will be in attendance it should make for a spectacular day!

I'd like to suggest a group photo comprising a selection of the biggest, baddest exotica from the day - I used the 747 stairs to get some shots last time I was there. Good idea / not good idea - delete as appropriate

I think I speak for all when I say would there be any reason not to do this? Would make a lovely desktop wallpaper.

Mind you I'm only a lowly freeloader/passenger so does my opinion count??

Already discussed on the "VMAX info" thread, I had the same idea as you. I think after the first lap when everyone is together, before we go and start the day.

that is a great idea, I will be armed with camera to take some interesting shots on the day.
Is there going to be a DVD of this one as there has of previous events?

cheers Tony

From the stairs is perfect.
Suggest there is a loudhailer used to co-ordinate!

:cough:

I was thinking of 2 shots in particular:

One with all the cars arranged "artisticly" in car park by the dog burger van with owners proudly beside their respective steeds, and a shot with a select cut of top cars from the day. I'd like to get as close as possible to an EVO front cover style shot.

Problem is, we'd have to have 1 person organizing the choice and positioning of the cars for the main shot, otherwise I think we'd end up with "too many cooks"

Get Greg to do this. He's particularly gifted when it comes to vocal projection.

Steve, I think between us we can sort this out.

I'm marshalling on the day so I'm more than happy to give a hand on this. It would make a great picture.

Will you be in the NSX? If so I'll hook up with you first thing at Brunters, if I may?

(I'll be in the equally stand out from the crowd Mercedes )

OK Dokey. I'm passengering with Stuart in the DB9 as the NSX would need new tyres & brakes. Give me shout when we get there - I'll be trudging a camera case around with me

Edited to say - I think we're rendezvousing (sp?) at yours first anyway!
