I have already guessed the answer and assume that trackday insurers don't cover this.
Or am I wrong?

Emm insured herself with competioncarinsurance.co.uk (think thats them?!!) last time, then realised it wasn't worth it afterwards.

You'd have to be driving like a tool to bin it at Brunters, Adam.

I use competition car insurance for track days.

As you have all said though, doesnt sound liek its worth it.

Is it run like a track day or is it just a couple of cars at a time?

Craig sets 2 cars off at a time at probably 2-3 minute intervals.

Thanks.

Is it just one lap per go?

My advice would be to get some air to the brakes (after the heavy stopping at the end of the straight), so don't try too hard on the remainder of the lap on the way back.
