Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has looked at this. Not my normal type of hting, with rally babes etc. but the trip route and track days do seem pretty good.

Are there an PHers thinking of doing it?

I very nearly did but what put me off to a certain extent was the duration. It states 8 days but starts July 5th and ends on the 14th (which is 9 days then I'd have 1,600 miles to get home).

The distance of 5000km (3300 miles ish) doesn't include as mentioned above the 1,600 miles I've got to get home.

All in all I think personally it should be a very good and enjoyable event but for me 'personally' I prefer doing 'B roads', 'Alpine mountains', etc just fun roads I think from what I can gather this is literally a point to point event and for me 4,900 miles of literally motorway driving and nothing really interesting road and scenery wise didn't appeal to me.

I opted instead to do an outing next year with a group I usually go with where we will do Spa, Nurburg, stop off at few museums like the Porsche one, pop over to Schumacher Karting arena head down the B500 do few mountains into Italy across to Monaco then take some random route home, for me that will be more enjoyable but it's all preference.

Signed up.. not sure on the car we'll use yet... the TVR is in the wrong country so we're looking at available options.
Definitely our sort of thing... smile

You're gonna have fun in Germany as car rallies are banned, youre looking at MAHOOSIVE fines and car confiscation.

Signed up, not sure what car to use, Noble would be most uncomfortable, TVR would need serviced before and after due to mileage from Aberdeen, Q7 would be dull on track... the party's sound good though!

Signed up. Looks very well organised & some great venues! Yes it's a fair mileage but worth it!
