A late and rather large thanks....

Firstly, thanks to Craig for organising this spectacle for us all to enjoy, an absolutely incredible day.
Finally got a chance to post my thanks, home computers dead/ uni has been hectic and I have just blagged a few mins (ha!) from one of my "brothers in floor" (Cheers Jared if you read this.)
Thanks also to Mr Tony for offering me a place in the maser to get in, unfortunately I still dont know who owns the silver Astra that blocked me in against another neighbour who cant park for
. Thanks for the ride in the maser later on, have to say it exceeded expectations, for some reason I thought it would be a little slower than that. Pretty impressive, wonder what a GranSport would have done
Next, Mr Slinkster - from what I can see you believe you had me off the start with pure skill and outright power?? Pah, when my cars working at its full potential it will be a closer fight... and we have to do the "smart launch" too. I will be getting the car looked at shortly because as you saw I had very little boost until third gear
GUTTED. A pleasure to meet you, spend the day chatting to you and then lead you in the completely wrong direction on the way back. My cars not 100%, but still - you dont exactly
hang about yourself!!
Corinne - Is there anyone you dont know/ any trade you dont have contacts in??? Without your help Rods would have certainly be paying a rather larger amount than the already scary figure for a rear tyre on a 996 Turbo!! A pleasure to see you, hope you werent too bored by the smarts more pedestrian pace, compared to the Griff/ Vmaxxers that is...
Rods - No probs with the tyre - meant I got a lap at 7 tenths (the huge tyre in the back meant slightly more restrained cornering than I would normally do in t'smart... Cheers for the ride, seems just a tad too calm from the passenger seat (car wise, you drive like you have stolen it, of course) Also thanks for saying that I can take the Porsche for a spin next time - or did I dream that??
Im not even going to ask why you had so much cash to hand, even now I cant think how/why/how anyone would carry that kind of money. Just out of interest, what do you do for a living?? might be tempted to switch courses...
The owner of the 575 - Terribly sorry but I cant remember your name. Also sorry for my language, but to be fair, the figure of 1700kilos still doesnt quite add up in my head compared to the experience?! Not sure that sentence makes sense, which is rather apt as neither did your car. Without a doubt, that is my car of the vmax. It cornered ridiculously well and went lambo hunting in terms of outright pace, despite a power and weight deficit?? Incredible. You have just cost me alot of money in the future sir, THANKS!
Martyn - Ok, for some reason I thought you would be a relatively calm and dare I say it, slow driver. What an absolute nut!! Excellent ride, truly lovely car - cheers, see you at the next Piston Fest!
Joust - the pedal in the middle is called a brake - most sane non-Noble owners tend to use it occaisionally...
In the wet it was surreal, in the dry it was unbelievable, if I could get on with the way it looked (my personal opinion only) - It would be on my wish list.
Righty, pushed for time so just a final thanks to everyone else who I met - good to see you all, looking forward to PF 05, hope everyone got away without too many extra expenses in terms of brake pads and such...
Thanks all, it was a pleasure - see you next time - hopefully from the driving seat of the Cerbera.
Ciao,
Ben CA

Ben,
Glad you like the trip in the Noble. If it's the looks you don't like, how about a M14. Same chassis, bigger engine....
Depending on a small few things there might be the chance of me bringing a M400 along to the next one. You think the old "Classic" 2.5 corners, you wait until I take you out in that
To everyone else, as I've said, nice to meet you all. Really must remember to get more rides though, but then I do just soooo love those corners!

He runs a string of high class call girls and nicks Porsches for a living - if there's room on the course go for it, it's a blast.
