2014 Jerez F1 Testing

Just booked flights for Seville at the end of January to go and see (and hopefully hear!) the latest gen F1 cars in action at Jerez.

Anyone got any tips from previous Jerez visits, especially F1 testing?

Can I sort tickets anywhere in advance or just accept I can only get them on the gate?
Any good places to stay/eat.
Most important of all - any unmissable roads to visit in the area whilst we have one of SEATs best hire cars?!

Any tips gratefully received.

I went two years ago, Won a competition with Mclaren. Just turned up on the gate and paid about 15 euros. Sat on the grandstand dinking a san miguel end of Jan in my shorts and t-shirt .
Stayed in a small hotel in Arcos De La Frontera.
