Berkshire Night Run - Friday 16th May
Discussion
Hi chaps and fellow petrol heads.
The first Night Run of 2014 will be taking place on the evening of Friday 16th May starting from the Ascot area (full details will be emailed to all participants) The route is a good mix of driving roads, the vast majority of which are without street lights, making this a challenging drive and one that will test your skills. We will be driving in what ever the weather brings, whether it be dry or heavy rain and won't cancel the run.
We'll be meeting at 9pm and depart at 9.30pm with a full briefing before we all head off. We'll be driving through several counties and aim to finish just off the M3 London bound at around 11.30pm.
Because of the nature of this run, numbers will be limited to just eight cars so that we all can keep together without one or two going astray. There will be one short waiting point along the route to re-group but no stops there after until we finish.
If you fancy something completely different to the day hoons, then please put your name down.
Full route details, meeting and finish point will be emailed to all participants nearer the time. You can also PM me with any questions.
Thanks
Steve

I'd definitely like to join this. I've had some terrible luck with my cars recently (MR2 was crashed into by someone who drove off, and the Jag had a wheel/brick interface on the M25), but I'm confident at least one car will be up and running by the 16th (hopefully the MR2!)

Night Run update:
We are meeting at the Peacock Farm Pub (Binfield) for a bite to eat if anyone is interested in joining us before we head off on the Night Run. We aim to be there between 7.30pm-8.00pm.
The pub is also now the meeting and start point for the run (9pm to meet - 9.30pm depart)
Please PM me so that I can make sure we have a big enough table

This sounds good fun but I wouldn't want to take my sheddy Puma
and the GT-Four isn't on the road. Does anyone fancy a passenger from Bracknell? I can contribute towards fuel?
Nathan

.Hi chaps. Just a couple of notes to mention regarding this Friday's Night Run.
Firstly, if anyone would like to join us for a bite to eat before we head off, we plan to be at our meeting point, Peacock Farm pub, from 7.30pm - I have reserved a table for ten just in case. If you can't make it for 7.30, don't worry, just arrive when you can.
Their car park can get busy in the evening, however, they are extending the number of parking spaces and this may be completed by Friday. Never the less, there should be enough space to park.
For the exact location and full menu, the pub website is www.peacockfarm.co.uk
We'll be meeting in the car park of Peacock Farm pub prior to the run from 9.00pm ready to leave at 9.30pm. I would appreciate if you can be there for a drivers briefing before we leave. As for the route, I can email you all a Google map link but I will bring copies with me just in case. Please let me know if you would like the map link.
Due to the overwhelming popularity of this run, I've added CSully94 and Tom (from the reserve list) to round the numbers attending to ten. Unfortunately I can't add any more cars on this occasion, but we are busy planning the next two Night Runs, both of which are in different locations
These will be posted soon.
I look forward to meeting you all on Friday, and if you have any questions, please PM me.
Thanks
Steve
