Went down to Italy for the Mille Miglia for the 2nd time last week.

I went last year and the weather was not so good,this year it was glorious hot.

These are now in the wrong order as these were all taken in the city centre before the event start

which the 1st post shows with the cars exiting the city.

The driver of the wing car isn't a known name,not to me anyway.

You should.

With over 400 cars entered you get 2-3 hours of passing cars plus many interesting classics

some of which are official support cars and others just following the route.

I have to say that this event is on my bucketlist. I don't think my tr2 would get entry even though I know it is one of the cars that competes.. I am keeping my eyes open for a car to restore in order to enter, which hopefully will be within the next few years.
