Lunchtime Pub meet - 'The Links', Liphook 27th Feb
Discussion
Hi everyone, organising a PHer's Pub meet 27th February for some possible lunch, drinks or both. Venue: The Links, 82 Portsmouth Rd , Liphook , Hampshire , GU30 7EF.
Well positioned for the central Southren group of PH'ers and the venue will reserve part of the car park for us if we can give accurate numbers. A wide selection on the "Specials" menu on a Sunday, including anything from Baguettes through too a Full Roast. Reasonable prices and of course lots of draught beers and soft drinks available.
I've chatted with the manager Debbie and she's very enthusiastic about it. We've had 2 or 3 of meets there before and had a warm welcome. We'll need to start getting there about 12:30 to avoid loosing reserved parking.
It's on the B2070, just South of Liphook off the A3. It's about 25 mins south of Guildford and about 30mins North of Portsmouth and 10 minutes west of Haslemere.

Hope to see many of you there again, perhaps a few new faces and motors too! All are welcome!

will do my best to get there, dave maybe a little covoy starting in bracknell???
A run definately! Hope people are prepared to get up early, got a good route in mind, but it'll take an hour and a half plus from Bracknell to Liphook. But great roads and i'm hoping we can avoid the traffic. Gotta do some research but probably leave Bracknell about 10:30! Get yourselves a full tank before we set off.....

Looks like I will be free that weekend after all, so count me in on the run from Bracknell - assuming I can get out of bed that early on a Sunday morning!
Cool, i look forward to watching you in my rear view mirror......... Getting smaller........And then parking up and waiting for you to catch up, girlie driver!
I'll be doing maps and we'll have a steady, brisk pace as usual. Come one, come all.

Fighting talk eh?? and girlie driver??
You are in big trouble now young man!
Anyway at least you will be able to see me in your rearview mirror since I am still in a yellow car - not going to be able to spot you now you have gone all dark and inconspicuous.....

I prefer Dark, Menacing and Mysterious, In a 'Milk Tray' styli!
Drove into the work multi-storey today and blipped the accelerator behind the "ever so nice man" that works on reception in the office. He literally left the ground as the basement car park floor echoed to the big bore exhaust. Childish I know, but I don't suppose it's been long since he had a throaty roar come from behind.......
Anyway Debs, with your 'base' model Elise, I hope you can keep up with the rest of the group.....

Lol - if Clare has been telling you that you now look like the 'Milk Tray' man in your new car, then she's after something!
Well looks like my 'base' model Elise is definitely going to have to be upgraded now - and then we will see who is looking at who in the rear-view mirror.....

Be aware it's gonna be an early ish start lads. Got some miles to cover!
Early start? Alex & I will probably need a head start in our quality refined vehicle of choice.
Shall we take the Bmw, the Focus or the van ?? hmm
