Sometimes we ask questions in all innocence that end up being embarrassing because a petrolhead should already know the answer.

Here goes then.

What is vmax?

25 - 30 cars hammering down the 2 mile straight at Bruntingthorpe.

No traffic, speed cameras or police. Just lots of empty tarmac and fast cars.

All in all quite an enjoyable way to spend a day.

I think that all the places for the forthcoming Vmax are filled. However, CraigW runs a reserve list just in case people drop out.

I thought is was like max power,but the most max power hence the 'V'.

Is there a way you could have a league table of all results from VMax? I see you have recent results, but a full list (or a top 10 of all time type thing) would be interesting.
