Well its officially on now!

The Big Northern Gathering 05

Saturday will be a lower key event with a, or a number (depending on numbers) of drives out organsied with pub lunches
All drives start at 11am from Tescos Clifton Moor
Drive 1 - To the west via some challenging B roads
Drive 2 - To the East again taking in some great terrian
Drive 3 - To the North via the Moors and the East coast - both main road and B road driving

Sunday will be a gathering at Castle Howard (brideshead revisted) www.castlehoward.co.uk

If there is plenty of interest for an early gathering in York I will try for a road closure and a city rumble

Im working on the details but it will be a small initial charge per car and then those who chose to do more (like the house, gardens, lake boast ride) can pay extra.

Well even though I am leaving their employ today I can probably sort out some accomodation at York University. Houses for up to 10 can be had for about £250 for the weekend, so ridiculously cheap self catering. Let me know if anyone is interested.
