Ted's image manipulation may well make this unreadable, so here's a clicky link as well..

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v423/slinksport/stats-20-03-05.jpg

As usual, these are taken from a number of sources (Autocar, Evo and various websites), if there are any errors, or your car is non-standard and you have proven stats, drop me a line and I'll update things for you...

Enjoy,

Fantastic work! Makes you realise the true extremes that will be at VMax....from that ominous torque figure of a certain red Mercedes to the 0-60/0-100 time of a certain ultima.

To say I can't wait is an understatement - and I'm not even driving!

Nice one Slinky.

My Alfa, though, is a phase2 rather than phase3, so its stats are as follows (not that it'll make much difference to the final tally!)

cc: 2959
cyl: V6
ind: NA
bhp: 218
trq: 199lbft
acc: 6.7 (0-100kmh)
acc: ? (0-100mph)
mph: 155
£££: 26500

Hi Slinky,

Mate, your stats for the 993 RS are a bit out! I suspect they refer to a 911 Turbo of some vintage.

I think mine is the only 993 RS going and the car is modified. The engine has just had a re-map and the best power figure 9M got was 349 BHP with 290 lb/ft torque.

Here are my real stats, well the best I can manage!

3,800 cc
6 cylinders
normally aspirated
349 BHP
290 lb/ft
0-60.....say 5 secs
0-100......dunno
Top speed......say 170 mph
Price new....dunno

Jeez! Just looking at the torque figure, I have to wonder if the authorities at Brunters have managed to iron out the rucks in the tarmac at the start of the straight since last time?

Slinky, couple of changes on the SLK for you,
Had it re-mapped the other day and these are the revised figures
BHP: 238

650bhp and 1000n/m is quite hefty, but it has to move over two tonnes and my lardy butt. The little yellow thing is the one to watch by the looks.

But its not bonkers in a SHIT THIS IS QUICK! manner

One minute you look over and you're doing 30 the next 200 with no appreciable difference in noise or occasion and its only then you blurt out SHIT THIS IS QUICK! involuntarily.

That's sounds a bit like Hyperspace. I can just see PG dressed as Hans Solo taking the Millenium Falcon into the next Galaxy

sorry I'll get back to work
