Well its officially on now!

The Big Northern Gathering 05

Saturday will be a lower key event with a, or a number (depending on numbers) of drives out organsied with pub lunches
All drives start at 11am Clifton Moor Tesco Car Park A1237
Drive 1 - To the west via some challenging B roads
Drive 2 - To the East again taking in some great terrian
Drive 3 - To the North via the Moors and the East coast - both main road and B road driving

Sunday will be a gathering at Castle Howard (brideshead revisted) www.castlehoward.co.uk

If there is plenty of interest for an early gathering in York I will try for a road closure and a city rumble
The drives out and city rumble will be limited to TVRCC members.
The night out and Gathering at Castle Howard open to all PHers as well

Im working on the details but it will be a small initial charge per car for those showing TVRCC membership - others willbe slightly more)and then those who chose to do more (like the house, gardens, lake boast ride) can pay extra.

accomodation will be down to you
Ill provide links to hotels in York

Sat night there will be a meeting point for beers
At Wetherspoons Postern Gate, Picadilly, York.

Okay....will be out on a boat all day tomorrow with the peeps that are likely to come along as well......

So...advice please.....for us southerners.....who are cursed to live amongst the very, very flat fens.......which route would you advise as being the most upy downy rolling hill type scenic drive.

Hope to read all (well most with a few edits to fit the page ) about it!

In the mean time - 4 couples added to drive 3!

Count us in for Drive 3.

A rumble in York would also be excellent! Any news yet?

Why a lack of postings so far on this on?

With this amount of notice a 'mega-rumble' could be one the cards.

Road closures sound great, take it the Gatso's will be deactivated too.

Please book me in for Drive 3 too, look forward to it!

Do we have a list of attendees for the night out in York?

Obviously drive 3 would be nice aswell but I take it I'm not allowed.
