As the dust and stones settle on the runway, has anyone left Brunters thinking they need a bit more power/handling?

I've been scouring autotrader all morning looking for a new charriot

Unfortunately my car was too unwell to make it this time so I went with Badapple in his new VX220 Turbo which was fantastic. 143 top speed but it was just a riot in the corners.

Hopefully my S1 will shortly be replaced by a Lotus S2 Exige. It wont be any faster on the straight but should cane almost everything else through the twisties.

Other than that a RUF sized lottery win would be nice

yup, car goes to Verdis this week for a Tubi and an ECU upgrade

Roll on an extra 50-60hp, and roll on VMAX8

Go faster stripes

Actually, it's probably not necessary, but once you hit 155mph the 'bonnet open' light starts to flicker on!

Obviously the airflow over the bonnet is making the bonnet lift slightly. Taping over the bonnet edges stops the light coming on and makes me a little more relaxed

Bah! You buy a Ferrari thinking that you have finally reached near enough the pinnacle of automotive performance then you see them goddamn RUF Porkahs tearing it up and wonder where Verdis are gonna find me another 100 brake or so...

... and I did'nt even get on track!!! The way they destroyed some of the other "supercars" looked soul destroying.

Tubi anyone?

Yes, I've already fitted new polybushes, adjustable suspension, ARB's etc, but the rear suspension is just too hard even for the track, it just bounces around. To compensate I'm going to buy upper suspension mounts that will give me an extra shock travel which should stop the car running continually on its bump stops!

And after my last spin (ahem) I'm going to buy a roll bar for protection and to stiffen up the chassis.

Then I'm going to take a driving course and turn up the boost!

An mx5 isn't designed for top speeds, but I'd like to crack 140.

The details aren't sorted yet, but it's not a Milltek.

Nope, not commercially available yet, this will be the first they have done.

Didnt think H&S had done one yet either.

Advantage with the Miltek is no warranty issues I believe, if you have a warranty.
