As most of you know I drove home early on sunday with the car in limp home mode. Just had the garage on the phone and the car is fixed. The problem was a lose turbo pipe which has now been tightened (and the other side checked). So DMS Robs prognosis of either a solanoid sensor or a lose pipe, with the advice of if driving to keep the car off boost was spot on.

Collecting later today.

DAZ

How has everyopne else who experienced mechanical issues on the day got on?

Glad it was simply fixed Daz.

Last time I saw you in "limp home" mode was after a PistonFest beer incident.

Jeremy, are you trying to lose the "nicest man in the world" tag or what..? Some razor-sharp wit coming out on PH in the last 24 hours..!!

Daz - over the moon that your P&J is back to full health (and credit to the DMS guy for a diagnosis)… the look on your face when it broke absolutely broke my heart….

Good to hear that Daz - nice simple fix and no long term ill effects; I did wonder why you were pottling off the start line Got some decent pics before you departed anyway.

The NSX stood up to some brutal punishment pretty well - clutch has taken a little bit of wear, probably needs new front pads now as well and the rear tyres are decidedly s/hand. All in a days work for the old ricer!

Quite! End of day - cruise control on, cd, air con, brilliant comfort. Try that in your Cerb / Exige

Good to hear that it was nothing too serious Dazren. How is Herr Der getting on? He looked a bit concerned about his turbo when he left...He has an extra mouth to feed, so hopefully nothing too deleterious to his wallet
