Belgian Grand Prix - getting home from Spa
Discussion
I haven't been before and would appreciate some advice from those who have.
Google Maps says it's 4.5 hours from Spa to the Tunnel but I imagine it will take a good time more getting out of the circuit and dealing with GP traffic and I live 3.5 hours from Folkestone. So my options seem to be to stay another night in the campsite at Spa and spend all day on Monday getting home or stopping near the tunnel for Sunday night, What do others do?
Thanks
Bob

If you get an early dart from the campsite you can get out and onto the motorway in a reasonable time I've never got back to Blighty on the Sunday but have made it to hotels on the outskirts of Calais in time for a few beers before the bar closed. Pack up your tent and drive your car close to the exit on Sunday morning.

Currently living in Brussels, so going to take the opportunity to go
there are bus services dedicated from Brussels
Calais to Brussels in good traffic takes about 2 hours
send me a PM maybe we can organise transport to Spa together
Thanks for the offer but I'm driving and camping so will go straight there. It's leaving that I'm thinking about. Cheers, Bob. there are bus services dedicated from Brussels

Thanks. I hadn't thought of that. I could stay the night in the campsite but get the impression that most people will have gone and all food outlets will have closed. Maybe I'll decide on the Sunday Cheers, Bob.Gassing Station | Events & Meetings | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
