None of the above, it was started by a pistonheader who kew a few people who owed him a favour and they knew someone that owned an airfield, just so happened to be Brunters, so he hired it, invited a few like minded, and Vmax was born...
All of the above could be complete fiction of course

RICH. No direct relation to PH, other than Ted let's us have a forum as a lot of PHers drive at VMAX.
Do you remember the Porsche day at Brunters 2 years ago? where there was ice on the runway and we had to bugger off to safeways for breakfast in Lutterworth, whilst the runway thawed out? That day was organised by Maurice for a load of 993 owners, to fill up the event he opened it up to PHers and a few of us drove on it ((Me, Craigw, Jeremyc, bluesatin and 944/68 plus a few PH spectators) I've probably forgot someone). Craig had a good day razzing the Ferrari and decided to organise a day for a few work colleagues, he got on the case and booked the venue. He then invited PHers to join the day. VMAX was born.
